Boutique eco lodge near El Valle Beach in Samaná, Dominican Republic. Enjoy a tropical jungle retreat with rustic-chic rooms, sustainable design, and thoughtful comforts in a peaceful natural setting. Perfect for travelers seeking a unique beach-near stay with character. Located in a rural, unspoiled area, occasional local power outages may occur. We have a backup generator, though rare extended outages may still cause temporary interruptions.

The space
A two-bedroom jungle bungalow, ideal for families or friends traveling together. On the ground floor, there is a king bedroom with AC, a private outdoor sitting area, and a bathroom with independent entrance. The upper level features four twin beds, making it a comfortable and flexible stay surrounded by nature.
Stays include a delicious breakfast with local coffee, fresh fruit and juices (no added sugar), homemade breads with butter and jam and fluffy eggs/omelette.

The natural surroundings are perfect for trekkings to hidden waterfalls, or to relax at the beach. Depending on the months there's surf, whale watching and fishing.

El Valle Lodge is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. It’s a true immersion into the jungle and nature. This casita is perfect for families. We came with our 3 and 4 year old and could not have had a better time. The bathroom is beautiful. The locally made shampoo and conditioner are absolutely dreamy! The upstairs loft in the casita is the perfect place to get back out and sleep, surrounded by nature. The extra “chill” space is essentially an outdoor living room. We used it every day and every night, perfect to enjoy the jungle rains. We ate breakfast here every day and it never disappointed! What an amazing breakfast they serve! We have made so many connections during our time in El Valle! From the kitchen staff, to the local restaurants, to locals at the beach. I’ve never felt more accepted and immersed in a culture as this. You can feel kindness from everyone around you. And of course, the virgin beach of El Valle is absolutely breathtaking. We hate leaving!
